Sedona evenings can be cool. While heaters will be provided, we recommend dressing for the occasion and bringing layers for cooler nighttime temperatures.

--Arrival & Departure--

We recommend arriving in Sedona anytime on Saturday if your schedule allows. If you prefer to arrive on Sunday (the wedding day) and stay that night, that’s perfectly fine, just plan accordingly with travels, as traffic on I-17 can become congested. For a more relaxed experience, we suggest booking a hotel for Sunday night and departing Monday at your convenience. If you’re arriving on the wedding day, please note that many hotels have a 4:00 PM check-in time, which coincides with our ceremony start time. Early check-in may be available but is not guaranteed, so guests traveling from Phoenix may want to get ready before heading to Sedona! If you’re staying at Sky Ranch, luggage storage is available at the front desk!

--Getting to Sedona--

For guests flying in, we recommend Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), about a 2-hour drive from Sedona. We strongly recommend renting a car, as Sedona is spread out. If you’ll be without a car, please let us know, we may be able to help coordinate a ride, though this is not guaranteed! Parking will be available on-site but limited, so we kindly encourage carpooling when possible.

This hotel is where the wedding will be held. To get access to the wedding block rates &amp; rooms, please call 928-282-6400 ext. 2 and ask to speak with reservation specialist Max or Dalia for the Burns-Stanich wedding. Please note this hotel will be the more expensive option, and to book ASAP to confirm rates. Standard check-in is typically around 4:00 PM. Guests arriving on the day of the wedding may wish to request early check-in, though availability is not guaranteed.

If you’re looking for a great restaurant near the venue, we recommend Mesa Grill at the Sedona Airport. It offers a wide variety of options and is conveniently located within walking distance of the venue.

Cathedral Rock Trail is a must-do hike for iconic Sedona red rock views. This short but steep 1.2-mile round trip gains about 670 feet in elevation and rewards hikers with incredible panoramic views. Parking is limited, but free shuttles run from the Little Horse Trailhead. Best enjoyed early in the morning or near sunset.

Don’t have a car or want to stay near the venue? The Airport Loop Trail is an easy, scenic 3.3-mile loop with sweeping red rock views. It’s relatively flat, great for a relaxed walk, especially at sunset and close to town. (~423 ft elevation gain, 1.5–2 hrs)

Boynton Canyon Trail is a peaceful, scenic hike through a wide red rock canyon. The full trail is about 6 miles round trip with roughly 930 feet of elevation gain. A popular highlight is the Subway Cave, follow the AllTrails map for the marked turnoff so you don’t miss it. Parking is available at the trailhead and nearby roads.

Pink Jeep Tours are one of Sedona’s most iconic experiences, offering guided off-road adventures through the red rocks—no hiking required. Tours range from smooth and scenic to more rugged, making them great for all activity levels.

Soldier Pass Trail is a scenic hike featuring famous landmarks like the Seven Sacred Pools and Devil’s Kitchen Sinkhole. It’s about 4.5 miles round trip with moderate elevation gain and varied red rock scenery throughout.

West Fork Trail is a scenic out-and-back hike through Oak Creek Canyon with shaded forest, creek crossings, and towering canyon walls. It’s 6.6 miles round trip with gentle elevation gain, making it a great option for a peaceful, cooler hike.
